The Logo:
Lotus is a symbol of feminine strength. It can grow anywhere including muddy waters. I designed it in illustrator. The typography, is artsy and clear following basic design principles. It will never be mistaken for anything else and shows well large as well as an icon. Classy, trendy, elegant and modern. This
logo embodies the company essence as a whole.

The Project
The Problem and Solution
Commercial flower ordering sites do not let you search by promised delivery or even what is available at your local flower shop.
We are solving this by designing a flower ordering website and branding that is not only easy to use, and reliable but also beautifully designed to reflect the flower shops brand essence.
My Role
UX designer, graphic designer, Logo Designer, UX researcher from conception to launch.
Usability Research
I conducted interviews with frequent flower customers. A primary group is people away from their loved ones.
This user group confirmed that ordering flowers from big named websites can be confusing and frustrating as you get through the ordering flow and realize what you want to send is unavailable. Other issues include, price, delivery date, and lack of inventory.
Wireframe and lo-fi prototype
Goal is to always make the process as easy as possible. So I implemented a pop up screen with the option to navigate back and hold your place for whatever you were viewing before. This saves time, and frustration.
User Pain Points
Users want to see what is available for delivery on a particular day. Sometimes the need for flowers is ASAP.
Users want to support small business without the need for a middle man.
Confusing websites. Users do not even know where flowers are coming from.
Users want easy to use accessible websites with easy user flow .
